JC Music & Wellness is pleased to offer Aerial Yoga wellness services for individuals and groups upon special request.

Owner Jimmy Clark (RYT 200 / AYT 80) has been an active yogi for over 15 years, and he himself has devoted countless hours to the study and application of these ancient healing practices.

Jimmy believes in the benefits of daily practice so much so, that in 2014 he underwent his 200-hour yoga teacher training.

Jimmy completed an 80 hour certification program for aerial yoga in tandem with his primary study curriculum, which is a wonderful complementary practice to traditional floor yoga.

Traditional Floor Yoga

Although Yoga has become a very popular pastime activity in recent years in the western world, it is actually an ancient practice dating back 5000 years, originating in India.

The word "Yoga", translated from Sanskrit, means "Union”, or in other words, the joining together of the mind, body, and spirit.

More than being simply a physical practice, Yoga guides us in understanding the connection between our own body, mind, and spirit, as well as our connection to other human beings.

Aerial Yoga

What is Aerial Yoga?

Aerial Yoga involves and utilizes postures that are done in the air in a hammock, also known as a silk, that create space, alignment, detoxification, and balance within the body.

Practitioners learn how to blend traditional yoga with acrobatic elements while focusing on alignment that is guided by breath.
