About Music Lessons

Jimmy Clark began his teaching career young in life at the age of thirteen, taking his first students only one year after he began learning about music, guitar, and piano himself.

Since then, Jimmy has kept his business growing and evolving by staying immersed in musical studies and experiences while integrating and re-teaching everything he has learned since it he started his musical journey back in 1996.

Though Jimmy did not attend college like many of his peers, he has continually expanded his expertise by cultivating a wealth of knowledge and experience through working with long-term mentors, teachers, and industry professionals.

He independently researches topics related to the business, art, and method of music as a profession and is a regular industry conference goer, where he keeps up to date with emerging market, technology, trends, and legal issues relevant to the music industry. 

At your home

One of the unique qualities of Jimmy’s services, is that he travels to his clients, and has done so since the very beginning. He is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, and specializes in one-on-one AND group instruction.

Experienced

Jimmy is involved in many different areas of the music industry, while also maintaining secondary career paths in the fields of health and wellness, but when asked what his favorite “job” is, he enthusiastically replies “Teaching!!”.

He believes that teaching is the best way to test one’s own knowledge and skills, but even more importantly, to keep reliable methods and info circulating. 

As a career teacher, he considers himself very fortunate.

Jimmy strives to maintain long-term student / teacher relationships, where large goals are created, and accomplished, and where clients have the ability, support, and time to explore all aspects of their craft.

Several of Jimmy’s clients have gone on to become successful teachers, performers, and industry professionals, while others have become fully satisfied and capable hobbyists.
