Spirit Stone is a band that was formed in 2016 by Songwriter / Singer /Guitarist David Gill and Harpist / Vocalist Jasper Corcoran (also of The Sweet Maple Singers) based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The band has had several incarnations, yielding collaborations with many talented individuals.
The band lineup shifted again in 2017 with the addition of Joy Yana as secondary lead-vocalist, Brant Uber on percussion, and Jimmy Clark on electric and acoustic guitar.
Joy stayed with Spirit Stone until 2019.leaving behind a legacy of studio recordings and memorable live performances.
2020 saw Spirit Stone on hiatus with intentions to re-open projects and performance opportunities in the near future with a reformed line-up and fresh music from the studio.
Jimmy’s Role:
Jimmy’s role in Spirit Stone began with him as a second guitarist for live performances, eventually evolving into a studio performer, appearing on “Alien Queen”, “Weird Kind Of Love”,and “Stay With Me” on Spirit Stone’s 2019 self-titled album.
Currently Jimmy is working with Dave and Brant to reform the band, write new music, and produce new music with Jimmy at the helm as Project Manager, where he works to see that the recording process runs smoothly, timely, and with the support of back-end business management.
Crossovers & Collaborations:
Jimmy and Dave have been collaborating for since 2016, having originally met (along with Josh Kobel) as p[art of another Pennsylvania band “The Puffins”.
Jimmy and Dave have been appearing on each others records, in each others videos, and on stage with each others respective bands.
Jimmy’s main project “Clark & Kobel” has invited Dave as an actor in their expansive Tarot Music Project (Clark & Kobel’s Tarot) as an actor where he appeared in 5 videos including lead roles in “She Of The Earth (The Empress), and “The Star Inside”.
Dave and Jimmy have shared the stage in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, as performers at major festival events.
