“Donations for Daddy”:

“In 2015, my own father succumbed to cancer, so I am very personally aware of the struggles that families endure through the process of diagnosis. treatment, and yes, even death.

Veronica’s foundation brings immense joy, deep hope, and crucial relief to families and patients that are suffering.

For me, personally, it’s an honor to serve this great cause as part of the team as a board member, but also as a performer.

Both my and Veronica’s fathers were taken by cancer nearly a year apart, almost to the day, so we have shared our hearts in the pain, transformation, and loss… but also in the love, creation and hope that can blossom from the experience.”

“Be A VeRole Model”:

“I’ve had the privilege of working hands on in schools with Veronica Kole for her anti-bullying campaign appearances.

Through involvement, I’ve seen how important and impactful the information and support she provides is to the students.

She educates through entertainment, by performing songs and speaking directly to students about crucial social safety topics.

Veronica sets a stellar example for kids, and their lives very well could be changed, or even redirected into a positive direction as a direct result of her efforts to raise awareness.

I have great respect for admiration for Veronica’s social work.”

“Don’t bully me”

“It Hurts So Bad, But I Must Be Strong…”

“Don’t Bully Me” is a song collaboration by Jimmy Clark and Veronica Kole that serves as an anthem in support of her acclaimed anti-bullying campaign, “Be A VeRole Model”.

The campaign educates through entertainment, so Veronica desired to have a song that was unique to the campaign values.

Veronica performs and speaks directly to the students about bullying, while also delivering advice and providing a safety outlet for individuals to communicate in times of crisis.

She wanted a song that would not only be something that people experiencing bullying could relate to, but one that also sends a strong message of loving support and encouragement.

Jimmy was recruited as a writer / producer to get the song created and completed, and so “Don’t Bully Me” was written.

In the Studi0

When Veronica came to Jimmy about needing an anthem for her anti-bullying campaign, Jimmy was still acclimating to her musical style and exploring her abilities, as he had not yet written original music with her, or been in a studio setting.

This song stands apart from Veronica’s other releases, being more rock-music based in alignment with her desire to make her original music more adult and edgy sounding and less pop.

Jimmy performed electric and acoustic guitars, bass, keyboards, and backing vocals over the course of two sessions with his long time engineer Vincent Troyani at VTX Studios.

Once Jimmy recorded all of the songs structural parts, he then brought in keyboardist Tarek Ismail (Amber Blues) on Hammond B-3 organ, and Vinnie K. on drums to finish the arrangement..

Once the music was completed, Veronica wrapped up the project with her lead vocals, challenging her skills since it was her first non-pop song and in a key she wasn’t practiced in.

Jimmy coached her through diction and performance techniques, which only enhanced her already strong voice, yielding a solid studio performance which complemented the musical arrangement nicely while still successfully conveying the songs emotional quality and the urgency of the message.

Jimmy’s Reflections on

“Don’t Bully Me”

“When I was asked to help create Veronica’s anti-bullying anthem, I took some time to think about the importance of the song’s message while keeping her desire to expand in mind.

We agreed that she needed to start adding more edge to her sound as she moved out of her teens and into her twenties, so we approached the recording process in a way that was new to her with the use of exclusively real, live instruments, as opposed to the in-the-box production sound of Pop Music.

I was honored to be asked to do this project as I fully support the cause that she is proliferating - Bullying is NOT ok, so I’m happy to contribute to spreading awareness and information.”
